If the answer is yes to any of the above questions, start feeling the IMPACT! by joining the World Zoroastrian Chamber of Commerce on June 29, 2007 for a day of learning,  connecting and fun.

Building on a morning showcase of our community’s recent business success stories, we have developed an interactive program for the afternoon that will be entertaining, will help you explore your entrepreneurial potential and encourage you to work with fellow attendees in a real-world, business simulation game.  Our partner in this endeavour is Big Fish Interactive (http://www.bigfishinteractive.com), one of Canada's leading trainers in innovation, management and entrepreneurial development.  Big Fish has been helping businesses and people grow for over a decade by custom designing training programs that influence thinking patterns. 

Organized in teams of 8, you will be given a business to start and will have to quickly assign roles for each team member so that you can start the game on Day 1 of your start-up business.  Having to negotiate with the facilitators from Big Fish (who will act as bankers, suppliers, clients and the market in general), each team will go through scenarios where they live through the first 12 days of a business start-up.  You will develop business plans, marketing strategies, make production decisions, negotiate contracts and win market share in a fast moving environment. 

 

A simulation game like this offers the distinct advantages of:

 
1.  Encouraging our attendees to actually work together and problem-solve in a team environment - this will give the majority of us who have never actually worked together in business a perspective on how we could and where our individual strengths lie;

2.  Giving our would-be entrepreneurs a perspective on what it could be like to start a business. If you can go through a microcosm of the real world for a start-up, regardless of the industry or circumstances the simulation game throws at you, maybe unleashing your entrepreneurial spirit can be easier than you thought. 

By customizing a fun and engaging entrepreneurial challenge for us, Big Fish can help us tap in to our community and bring out the very entrepreneurial spirit the WZCC was formed to harness.  With learning’s and take-aways that will be reinforced/ extended via e-mail follow-ups after you leave the congress, you will build a foundation for the future. 

So, what does all this cost?

Prior to the early bird deadline - Jan 31, 2007

$69 for Students and IMPACT registrants. 

$99 for non-IMPACT registrants.

After the early bird deadline - Jan 31, 2007

$99 for IMPACT registrants (students will still be charged $69).

$129 for non-IMPACT registrants.

All prices include lunch and refreshment breaks.
